Whole Poster - Screen - title only.jpg

I'm Emma, an actor & theatre maker based in North Essex. I'm currently writing & creating an autobiographical (solo-ish) show called WHOLE  about what it means to loose the person who completes you. It's based on the experiences of loosing my identical twin sister Charlie in 2014 and wanting to open up conversation around death & grief. The show is supported by Arts Council England, Cambridge Junction, Metal and Artdepot.

Currently re-developing a new version of WHOLE, which will be touring  around the East of England and London in 2025.

Originally created during the pandemic, when sitting in a room and writing by myself made up the majority of my creation time, we have another opportunity to get back in a rehearsal room with a wonderful team & create the piece afresh.

“I’ve engaged in the development of Whole over the last few years, and it has been fantastic to see a piece of such depth and quality come to the stage. It is such a beautiful piece, both deeply personal and importantly universal in its reflection on the death of a sibling, a loved one, and the process of grieving. Emma is a delight to work with and a smart and talented maker and performer. The experience of Whole for an audience takes us to many places we rarely allow ourselves to access, and does that with all the heart and soul you would wish for. I’m excited to see where this show goes next.”
